Awards
NMAPTA recognizes members who have demonstrated excellence in the profession through its awards process. Nominations are accepted by the Professional Practice Committee throughout the year for two awards:
- PT or PTA of the Year
- Community Service Award
Criteria for Nominees
- Nominees must have made an outstanding contribution to the Physical Therapy profession or to the nominee's community in the State of NM and consistently demonstrate high personal and professional standards serving as a role model to other professionals.
- Nominations must be submitted at least one month prior to the conference in which the award will be presented and must include a completed nomination form and support statement addressing the unique qualifications of the member.
- Nominees must be a member of NMAPTA and a practicing physical therapist or physical therapist assistant in New Mexico.
